SUBMISSION
Requirements

  • Companies must submit THE SAME PIECE that they intend to perform.

  • ONLY 1 PEICE required to apply for all companies (However you are welcome to apply more pieces to be considered)

  • Length requirements: Bay Area Companies - 4-30 minutes. Non Bay Area Companies - 7-30 minutes

  • Include footage of ENTIRE piece with entire cast- NO EXCERPTS

  • Submit good quality footage

  • Rehearsal footage is ok to submit

What we look for

  • Professional Dance Companies from all over the world (Any size, from solo to group)

  • All styles of Hip Hop and Hip Hop Fusion

  • Use of Hip Hop styles in unique and interesting ways

  • Use of Hip Hop Dance in a theatrical way

  • Social Content/Commentary

  • Artistic Quality

  • Extraordinary Technical Skill and Ability

If selected, SFIHHDF will provide

  • Round-trip airfare and lodging and/or performance fees

  • Invitations to attend all VIP events hosted by the SFIHHDF

  • Media /Press Articles, Reviews and Photos

IF SELECTED,
YOU WILL PROVIDE

  • Visas/passports to travel to the U.S.

  • Marketing and promotion for the event via your social media.

  • All required SFIHHDF forms by their specified deadlines.

  • Vaccination records up to date to travel to the U.S.
