Lemuria (Mexico City, Mexico)
“ORGULLO LATINO”
Humanity cyclically experiences historical events that embody our greatest inner demons. We persist in believing that we are different from one another. Yet, even in times of war and hatred, the counter-force gains strength: unity reminds us that there is love in appreciating otherness, and that love holds the answer. Pride in our identity allows us to connect with our fellow human beings; even within a small segment, a sense of shared understanding and unconditional support emerges. This piece plants a seed of collective effort, showing how what begins with small groups can gradually expand until it conquers the world.
