Parking Advisory
Plan ahead! Parking is limited at the Palace of Fine Arts Theatre due to construction.
Doyle Drive from northbound 19th Avenue/Hwy 1 is closed.
We strongly encourage you to CARPOOL, and ARRIVE EARLY to park. Utilize
passenger loading zone at front of theatre for handicap/disabled person drop-off and pick-up.
Parking Option
ST. FRANCIS YACHT CLUB - Free, limited parking. 700 Marina Boulevard at Yacht Road. 12 minute walk across Marina Boulevard to Lyon Street and POFA Theatre.
PALACE OF FINE ARTS - Location
All performances are at the Palace of Fine Arts located at 3301 Lyon Street at Bay Street in San Francisco's Marina District next to the Exploratorium. For more information on new directions and parking, please visit /www.palaceoffinearts.org/Directions.html
DIRECTIONS
North Bay
From the north bay area. Take US 101 South across the Golden Gate Bridge to the Marina exit. Turn right at the first street, which is Lyon Street. This will take you to the parking area.
East Bay
From the east bay area. Take the Bay Bridge to the 9th Street exit. Turn right on 9th Street. Turn left after three blocks onto Hayes Street. Continue on Hayes for three blocks and turn right on Franklin Street. Follow Franklin for approximately two miles to Lombard Street and turn left. Follow Lombard for approximately 1 1/2 miles until you see a green & "Palace of Fine Arts" highway sign on the right side of the road. Turn right at the sign. This is Lyon Street. Go one block and turn left into the parking area.
South Bay via 280
Take 280 North and exit on 19th Avenue. Follow 19th Avenue towards the Golden Gate Bridge. Get in the right hand lane after exiting the McArthur tunnel. Turn right at the Downtown/Marina exit. Go approximately 1/4 mile and veer left to the Marina exit. Turn right at the first street, which is Lyon Street. This will take you to the parking area.
South Bay via 101
Take 101 North towards the Golden Gate Bridge. Exit at 9th Street. Turn left after three blocks onto Hayes Street. Continue on Hayes for three blocks and turn right on Franklin Street. By public transportation
From Fisherman's Wharf take the #30 Stockton bus. From other locations, Muni busses #22, 28, 29, 41, 43, 45, and many Golden Gate Transit busses stop nearby.
