13th Annual San Francisco Hip Hop DanceFest

Palace of Fine arts Theatre, San Francisco CA.
What We Look For:
- Professional Dance Companies from all over the world (Any size, from solo to group)
- All styles of Hip Hop and Hip Hop Fusion
- Use of Hip Hop styles in unique and interesting ways
- Use of Hip Hop Dance in a theatrical way
- Social Content/Commentary
- Artistic Quality
- Extraordinary Technical Skill and Ability
- Pieces must be 7-13 minutes
IF Hired:
- SFHHDF PROVIDES-
- Travel expenses and/or performance fees
- Travel arrangements, ground transportation and some meals
- Sold Out shows at the Palace of Fine Arts Theatre
- Invitations to attend all VIP events hosted by the SFHHDF
- Network Opportunities
- Media coverage
- COMPANIES MUST PROVIDE-
- Companies MUST provide a HIGH RES URL, BIO and PHOTO
- Companies must submit/audition THE SAME PIECE that they intend to perform
- Pieces must be between 7-13 MINUTES long
- Dancers must have visas/passports to travel to the U.S.
THE ONLY WAY TO APPLY IS TO SUBMIT FOOTAGE-
(There will be no live auditions this year, local companies must submit footage)
- Upload HIGH QUALITY footage of the exact piece you intend to perform (7-13 minutes - full cast and costume) and send the link to info@sfhiphopdancefest.com OR
- Mail HIGH QUALITY DVD or video footage of the exact piece you intend to perform (7-13 minutes - full cast and costume) to:
